Immersed In Black sind wie ein guter und lange gereifter Whiskey. Verschiedene Komponenten formten über mehrere Jahre den einzigartigen Stil. Musikalische Einflüsse aus Hardrock, Gothic-Rock, Rockabilly, Country und Folk vermischten sich und schufen eine kraftvolle Komposition aus melodiösen Monster-Rockabilly und Gothabilly. Poetisch, tiefgründig, immer mit einem Hauch von Ironie, führen die Texte durch die dunklen Sphären des Menschseins. Das „Monster“, der Mensch in all seinen Schattierungen, das Leben mit den dunklen und hellen Facetten, werden immer mit einem Augenzwinkern betrachtet.Die Musik soll neben all dem „Düsteren“ Spaß machen. Denn alles ist nur eine Illusion.
Immersed In Black are a band from Hamburg, Germany. Six members, two vocals (male/female), keyboard, two guitars, doublebass and drums. You can described it as a good and long matured whiskey. Different components formed the special taste over several years. Musical influences from hardrock, gothic rock, rockabilly, country and folk blended into a unique style and created a powerful composition of melodic monster rockabilly, gothabilly and dark country. Poetic, profound, always with a hint of irony, the texts lead through the dark spheres of being human. The “monster”, the human in all its shades, life with the dark and light facets are always looked at with humor.The music should be fun in addition to all the „dark“. Because everything is just an illusion.
